Conceptual poster project inspired by AC/DC’s show in Queensland on February 24, 1981, a milestone from the Back in Black tour and the band’s new era with Brian Johnson. The idea was to visually capture the band’s raw, explosive energy through the cassowary, a prehistoric-looking bird native to Queensland, as wild and untamed as AC/DC’s sound.
The artwork follows a bold art direction, using strong, warm tones like red and yellow, while staying true to my personal visual language. Created with a 7-color palette, the piece was designed with screen printing in mind. This is a personal, non-official project developed as a study in composition, texture, and artistic direction for collectible gig posters.
